The long term web strategy we developed for NZ Wood is hitting its stride with a series of improvements to their web presence. After creating NZ Wood’s first three sites we’ve continued to help them evolve their online channel.
NZ Wood is a programme promoting the development and use of forests and wood.
The channel strategy we developed is fully integrated with their brand and PR strategies. It targets NZ Wood’s diverse audiences with three separate but aligned sites, which together form an interactive hub to support their TV and print campaigns.
The NZ Wood Story site extends their TV ads, with video and animation showing the journey from planting to product. The corporate site has organisational information, industry research and news.
NZ Wood’s main site tools up architects, designers, builders, and DIYers with everything they need to know about using wood in their projects.
User research told us more about what these groups wanted from the site and sparked a series of recent additions.
We introduced two blogs to keep special interest groups informed - Woodworks has a design focus and Woodwatch is for industry insiders.
New carbon calculators offer practical insights into how using different building materials can affect your carbon footprint.
Having a solid strategy to build on is ensuring every step NZ Wood takes is in the right direction.
