Brian taught design for six years at two of New Zealand's most respected design schools: the Wanganui School of Design and Massey University's Wellington School of Design.
He has led design on some of Shift's biggest projects, including Te Ara, the Encyclopaedia of New Zealand for the Ministry of Culture and Heritage, The New Zealand Film Archive, Toyota New Zealand and Tourism New Zealand.

As Shift Wellington’s Creative Director, Brian is integral to ensuring excellence in all areas of the design work that Shift creates. He takes great pride in his own visual design and in the work of the design team that he mentors and nurtures. His extensive practical knowledge of the web medium has seen him push the boundaries of traditional web-design practice, resulting in standards-compliant sites that are beautiful both inside and out.
